The Intermediate course has 53 asanas and 8 type of pranayamas. The standing asanas were introduced in the Preliminary Course, whereas in thIntermediate course more attention will be focused on balancing, and forward extentions along with lateral twists in standing asanas. Also the flexing of the knees in different asanas makes one aware of the functions of our ligaments and the complete knee joint - how they should work properly and freely.
